Dr N K Gandhi has been staying in this area since 1965 and has completed his M.B.B.S. and M.S in General Surgery from B .J. Medical college and Sassoon General Hospital in the year 1983.
Since then he is practising in this area as a General and Laparoscopic surgeon.
He has specialised in Hernia, Hand and Diabetic foot surgery .
He has Participated in many national and international conferences to keep himself updated.
In the year 1995 he has been credited to have performed the first laproscopic Gall Bladder Surgery in YCM Hospital.
Inspired by the work of his father Dr Giriraj started his journey in the medical field(MBBS) in 2004 in the prestigious Sion hospital, Mumbai.
After completing MS in general surgery from B J Medical college , Pune he went on to take super specialized studies in Plastic surgery at PGI, Chandigarh. After completing 12 years of medical training he has joined the team of Gandhi Nursing Home.
Dr Arpita did her MBBS and joined the premier King Edward Memorial Hospital(KEM Hospital), Parel Mumbai for training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After Post Graduation she has a 3 years experience of working in Government Hospital and Fortis Hospital, Chandigarh.
Gandhi Nursing Home was inaugurated in March 1983 in Nigdi Pradhikaran area. It was the first nursing home to cater to the population in PCNTDA and the surrounding villages.
